We did a 3 year extensive search all around the 1,200 mile Florida coast in search of the best retirement/living location for us. We initially narrowed our search to the "Emerald Coast" on the Florida Gulf Coast, and sampled the life style from Panama City to the East to Pensacola to the West. While loving the people and diverse community life styles all along this 90 mile stretch of coastline, we decided upon the outstanding Gulf community of Pensacola Beach.
