But the America's Cup competition is a tradition that dates back to before the modern Olympics, and the American Magic team is one of the best. While officially the team of the New York Yacht Club and competing worldwide, they make their home in Florida, and you can watch them practice in Pensacola Bay. They have both men's and women's teams training for the America's Cup and performing truly astounding feats of sailing. If you're into boating and watersports or want to spend an exciting day on the Bay, American Magic is fun to watch.

The Sun Belt Conference Basketball Championship is one of the most exciting tournaments in college basketball. In fact, it's two of the most exciting tournaments; both men's and women's divisions compete between March 4th and March 10th. That's 26 total games between 14 teams over 7 days at the Pensacola Bay Center, with the winners going on to the NCAA Tournament. The week also features a variety of other entertainment, from performances by team bands and cheer squads to a dribble drive and much more. For college basketball fans, it's an event not to be missed.
